City tour in Lisbon
- Begin the day with a lovely breakfast at your hotel. Today, we will unravel the beauty of Lisbon, the capital and the largest city of Portugal.
- Let us take you to Belém that features its famous tower, Torre de Belém. Many of the great Portuguese explorers set off on their voyages of discovery from this tourist spot in Portugal.
- Visit the church and the cloisters of the Hieronymite Monastery, the entrance fee included, and the splendor of Manueline Art. You can taste the famous Pastel of Belém, a typical pastry of Lisbon.
- Grab some lunch before visiting the Alfama neighborhood, the oldest district of Lisbon known for its winding streets and flowered balconies. Climb to the Belvedere of Santa Luzia and capture the Instagramable panoramas on Lisbon.
- Feel free to walk and discover the bright city of Rossio and “Praça do Comercio.” You can do some shopping before returning to the hotel for dinner.
LISBON - SINTRA – ÓBIDOS - FATIMA
- Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and prepare to go to Sintra, where you will indulge the breathtaking views of mountain top medieval fortifications, vibrant fairytale castles, lush forests, and eccentric labyrinthine gardens. We will then visit the Palace of Sintra, the best-preserved medieval royal residence in Portugal.
- Take time to try the sweet, creamy, traditional Portuguese Queijada dessert.
- You can go shopping after eating lunch before heading to the picturesque cliffs of Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of Continental Europe. Let us now visit Obidos, a town located on a hilltop encircled by a fortified wall. Go back in time by visiting its well-preserved medieval architecture; its streets, squares, walls, and castles. Drink a cup of Portuguese liqueur “Ginginha” while admiring local artisan painting tiles.
- We then proceed to Fátima, located in the Central Region of Portugal. Here you will see a small chapel built at the site of a Marian apparition, now known as Our Lady of Fátima.

FATIMA – AVEIRO – PORTO
- Have breakfast at the hotel and ignite your faith by visiting the Sanctuary of Fatima, a group of Catholic religious buildings and structures. Enjoy your lunch and free time before visiting Aveiro. The place is also called The Venice of Portugal because of the gondolas plying the Ria de Aveiro canals.
- Stop at the train station and adore the astounding panel of glazed tiles that decorate the facade and illustrate Aveiro’s monuments. Practice your baking skills as we stop for a short workshop on how to make Ovos Moles. It is a wafer delicacy made of egg yolks and sugar, and sometimes chocolate.
