Cocora Valley Day Tour & Salento
- Visit Cocora Valley, a natural landscape located in the Central Andean Mountains, at Quindío. Here is the wax palm of Quindio (Ceroxylon quindiense), highest in the world and tree national ensign as well as a variety of flora and fauna, many of them endangered, protected under national natural park status.
- You will receive a warm welcome drink (Canelazo) and then an specialized eco-guide makes an introduction to the natural reserve of Cocora and a walking through the cloud forest where the biodiversity of fauna and flora can be seen, you will experience the ritual of Quindio wax palm, in which the eco-guide tells the story of how the aborigines worship them and then continues with the experience of seedlings palm planting. Typical lunch included
- Later you will move to the typical town of Salento to walk through the colonial streets, visit artisan workshops and the viewpoint of Cocora.

- Breakfast at the Hotel
- Visit to a coffee plantation where an expert will introduce you to the Colombian coffee world, its preparation, roasting, quality characteristics and properties that make the difference among the best coffees in the world. Various preparations of coffee will be tasted. With the assistance of an expert guide you will tour the farm, appreciating their coffee plantations and the work of the collector. In this process, you will know about the famous wet processing that characterizes the Colombian coffee.
